IMPORTANT NOTE: Cards with ANY religious messages cannot be distributed!
- Cards For Hospitalized Kids: Give Hospitalized Kids Hope
Give hope to children facing life-threatening illnesses by reminding them how amazing, strong, and special they are!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Hospitals Will Not Distribute Cards With Religious Messages, All Patients, Regardless Of Their Religious Beliefs Have The Right To Be Treated. Please do not use any illness-related terms. These children need to know they are more than their illness.
- Open Doors Youth: Give Hope To Persecuted Christians
Write a message of hope to globally persecuted Christians and help build courage and faith. We all need encouragement now and then. And followers of Jesus who are suffering for their faith need encouragement more than most. They need our prayers and words of hope to help get them through, and for the past few decades, Open Doors has been helping people in the UK send letters, thoughts, and prayers to Christians who face persecution all round the world.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a U.K.-based project, and although it is NOT REQUIRED, please try to send your letter using an International Stamp. Letters that do not have an International Stamp can still be sent and will gladly be accepted.
- Martyrs For Christ: A Voice For The Persecuted Church
Let persecuted Christians know they are not forgotten by writing them letters. Letter writing is a tangible way to give hope to persecuted Christians and the affirmation that they have not been forgotten.
IMPORTANT NOTE: *IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT THE IDENTITY OF THESE CHRISTIANS…*
For security purposes, please DO NOT mention Martyrs for Christ in your letters, criticize a country’s religion or religious extremists, its government, judicial system, or political leaders. Please DO NOT include money in your letter or card as Martyrs for Christ will not be able to forward your gift.
- HappyMail: Write To An Elder
Help brighten a senior’s day with just a few minutes of your time by creating a kind, personalized card complete with original artwork, a handwritten message, a typed message (see website email), and the love of Jesus Christ.
- Daylight Christian Prison Trust (U.K.): Write To A Christian Prisoner
Write a letter to those Christians in prison and remind them of God’s grace and forgiveness.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For your safety, please DO NOT reveal any personal details in your letters to prisoners. This includes information on where you live, where you work, which church you attend, or any other information which would enable the prisoner to trace you. We recommend that you do not use your own address for the return address but use our address instead (included on the website). It should be remembered that other prisoners may see your letter as well so care should be taken as to how much detail is included. Please only include your first name and the only address that should appear on the letter is the Daylight office address: CLICK “Start Writing” Button To See Address.
- Open Doors (USA): Write To A Persecuted Christian
Write a letter to persecuted Christians around the world, and show them that they are not alone. Persecuted believers—who often live in a region where they are far outnumbered by followers of other religions—routinely tell us that they are isolated, boycotted, ostracized, harassed, unjustly imprisoned, and even attacked. As a result, these believers are often deeply touched when they learn that Christians from other parts of the world are praying for them.
For your safety and the safety of these Christians, please visit The Letter Writing Guide before you start writing: Located in the red button below The Power of Encouragement paragraph.
- Love For Our Elders: Write To An Elder In A Care Facility
Help our elders know how loved and appreciated they are! Let’s brighten their day!
IMPORTANT NOTE: All letters MUST be handwritten, typed letters will not be distributed. Please try to avoid religious messages. Your letter should be able to resonate with everyone.
10. Persecution International Christian Concern
Write letters with other Christians to our persecuted brothers and sisters!
11. Open Doors Canada: Write To A Persecuted Christian
